Teen King
Teen King and The Princes has entertained countless audiences in the Twin Cities and throughout the upper Midwest for nearly 40 years. Known as Minnesota's first 'oldies tribute band', the group has performed at every conceivable venue from: church and frat parties to ballrooms, night clubs, country clubs, outdoor events, VFWs, Legions, Elks and major concert halls. Their list of happy clients is just as varied. The group's deep rooted popularity was evidenced early on, when in 1972 they played a record 479 gigs. The music stays young and the band stays true to authentically delivering the timeless music of the 1950's and 1960's. Fun is always the end result.
Founder of the group, Patrick Fitzgerald aka Teen King has fronted every show in their extensive history. The current Princes have worked with Teen King for the past six years, with the exception of saxophonist Jim Greenwell who dates to the mid seventies. Rounding out the personnel are guitar player Dell Solberg, drummer Daryl Cole and keyboard/bassist Scott Horwath, all with several decades of experience in the music industry.
